Korean Symphony Orchestra Hanyang University (HYU) Concert was held in Baeknam Music Concert Hall, Seoul campus on Oct 29. The orchestra was going around the country and having concerts. Moreover, HYU concert was held under the sponsorship of Office of Student Affairs.

  The Korean symphony orchestra performed famous instrumentals such as Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra in major, K. 191, "He is a Pirate" from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean', and Bugler's holiday, led by orchestra conductor Park Eun-sung who is currently a professor of the Department of String and Wind instrument, College of Music. Korean Symphony Orchestra is recently going around universities all over the country and performing concerts.

  This orchestra started in 1985 by orchestra conductor Hong Yeon-taek who was also a professor of the College of Music. In the concert, the orchestra performed Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra in major, K. 191 with a bassoonist Lim Hyo-bin, Opera Fledermaus Mein Herr Marquis with a soprano Jang Soo-hyun, Opera Andrea Chenier Nemico Della Patria with a baritone Yoon Gi-hoon and Opera Don Giovanni La ci Darem la Mano with the soprano and baritone mentioned. The concert had much famous musician's pieces including W.A.Mozart, A.Dvorak, J.Strauss, J.Brahms, U.giordano's music.
