A new student association at the Seoul campus of Hanyang University was elected on April 2, 2009. The new student association is called SAY (Same As You). The new chairman of the student council is Lee Dong-hoon and vice-chairman is Baek Jung-yeon.
  From March 31 to April 2, there was an election for a new student association in front of every college on the Hanyang University campus. 8681 out of 15855 students voted in the election. 7577 students agreed to SAY while 619 students disagreed. There were 484 invalid votes. Therefore, with 87.3 percentage agreement, the new student association was given a chance to start work.
