The flea Hanyang Volunteer Corps market is held annually at the festival and this year will be its fifth anniversary. It has always received a good reputation from its customers because even though they are secondhand articles, the quality of goods is very nice and the products are cheap.
The flea market will be especially meaningful because revenue from this event will be donated to a charity that helps poor people in two ways. Half of the benefit will be delivered to Beautiful Store, the sponsor organization of the volunteer corps, and they will share the benefit with many poor people who live in Ansan City. The rest of the donations will be delivered to The Community Chest of Gyeonggi. Lastly, 30 old people who live alone will receive the remainder of the donations.
The Hanyang Volunteer Corps collected contributions from April 27th to May 15th. They also collected monetary donation from May 4th to May 15th.
