Hanyang Global Engineering Frontier(HGEF) held a party of beginning semester for interchange students in March 13. HGEF informed students that they would help their school life from small things like register courses to studying a major by one by one mentor system.

Magic show and saxophone performance were also prepared for a pleasant atmosphere. After all program students had a dinner together and greeted each other .

HGEF is a club helping interchange students of college of engineering. It consists of Korean volunteering students. They help their friend’s unfamiliar university life.

Kwack Kae-dal, the advisor of HGEF, said, “Many interchange students of college of engineering have various difficulty in school life, loneliness, studying major, and so on. By HGEF’s mentoring program foreign students can get useful information about school life. Besides they can feel humanity from Korean students. In korean student’s view, contacting foreign students can be a preparing globalization.”
