On May 1, a lecture on Techno Management was held at Engineering Building of Hanyang University (HYU) at the Seoul Campus. The Techno Management CEO Lecture is a program that aims to provide Hanyangians with an opportunity to train for practical business work.

Specifically, the lecture focuses on the cultivation of rational thinking and the training of students to develop cooperation skills with Engineering majors. We believe that schoolwork is not enough for Hanyangians to learn about cooperation skills so we invited Kim Dong-jun, the CEO of innoCatylst, who is famous for his innovative business ideas, said Ahn Kwang-il, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at HYU.

Techno management, the topic covered in the lecture, is a way for companies to manage their technologies for the development of their own advantages. Kim emphasized its importance for successful business-dealings where  creativity is crucial.  In fact, many would say it is one of the key qualifications for being a successful CEO. The lecture received positive responses from a number of Hanyagians. Choo Un-kwang, a Senior in the Department of Industrial Engineering at HYU said, Since the lecture contained a lot of familiar material, it was useful for me in building my career path practically.
