On April 29, a total of 30 international Hanyangians and students from Dongguk, Chung-Ang, Hansung, and Sungshin Universities visited renowned Korean companies such as Samsung and KIA in order to learn about their products and visions.  The trip was a part of a cultural experience program for Hanyang’s foreign exchange students, conducted by the Office of International Cooperation (OIC) of Hanyang University (HYU).

These visits provided an opportunity for international Hanyangians to gain more information about Korea. Choi Seung-yeon, a staff member from the OIC, explained that the program takes their understanding of Korea from a superficial level to a deeper one by familiarizing foreign Hanyangians with Korea’s economic and industrial background. “Korea’s competitive corporations such as Samsung have played a major role in helping Korea to stand out globally. Thus, we thought it would be a good idea if international Hanyangians learned more about Korea through these educational fieldtrips,” said Choi.
