Tenspoon’s volunteer recruitment ended successfully, gaining the interests of many students on 10 February. Tenspoon, a Non Profit Organization(NPO), was founded in January 2014 by Ye Jong-suk, a Professor at Hanyang University(HYU) and his students. Tenspoon started their first campaign the following September. Students would volunteer at the university cafeteria in exchange for meal tickets. These tickets would be provided for those in need of financial aid. This campaign is not limited to just HYU, nine other universities, such as Seoul National University, Yonsei University and Konkuk University. Over 350 students are volunteering and have given approximately 7,000 meal tickets to 500 students in need.
