Loving Hanyang Contest takes place from October 2008 to May 2009. This event is held by Planning team, about the school's 70th year celebration. It aims for people both outside and inside of Hanyang University (HYU) know the history of HYU.

  This contest consists of two portions. First portion is from October 2008 to December 2008. During this period, you can apply for slogans, emblems, and ideas. It should contain meanings either related to the 70th celebration or the future of Hanyang; the way the school should pursue. The Planning Team looks for ideas on how HYU's 70th year should be celebrated.

  The second portion from March 2009 to May 2009, also consists of three parts. First part, "My Love, My Pride Hanyang" is for the professors, students and the graduates of HYU. It should be about why we are proud of HYU, and when we felt proud about being hanyangians. They also want the citizens of Sungdong-gu and Ansan to apply for the UCC contest. Also, a contest named "HY square subscription," everyone can express how they feel about HYU.

  The submissions will be graded according to standards of uniqueness, originality, and how well it sympathizes with the hanyang family. The winners will be awarded, and also deserve the glory of having their slogans and emblems, represent HYU for several decades.
