The Prime Minister visited HYU’s Fusion Technology Center to expand the exchange of scientific technology between Korea and Japan. HYU students who objected to Aso’s visit to Korea criticized, “Aso should first apologize for Japan’s distorted history, Dokdo extortion and hostile policies toward North Korea.” They also insisted, “The Prime Minister must change his attitude towards comfort women during World War II.” The press conference was forced to stop by government bodyguards.
