“Rachios Fiesta” Is Coming

   Hanyang university festival called Daedongje or Hangdangje will be held for four days from May 19 to May 22. “Rachios fiesta” is this festival’s slogan for Hanyangians who will participate in the festival.
On 19th, the eve of the festival will start. In this eve, Choi Won-yoo who was awarded gold prize of 2008 University Song Festival and Whistlers and Rhooters will appear on the stage. This eve has a byname. The byname is a declaration of Hanyangdaechub.
  On 20th, there will be two main events. These are pre-Cooking Competition and Independent Band Fiesta. The cooks who passed the pre-Cooking Competition will participated in the main Cooking Competition automatically.
  On 21st, 50 versus 50 dates will be held. This is for solo Hanyangians. If you want participate in this event, you have to apply.
  On 22nd is the last day of festival. The main Cooking Contest and Hanyang Song Festival will be held on this day.  Hanyang Song Festival has some special guests; Kara and Sweet sorrow. They will perform on the stage.
  Regardless of date, several events will be progressed. Seeking for rally and sports meeting will be progress on three days. Also, Information Centers will be held on three days. The centers will provide information about festival and offer T-shirts and towels what is used as an admission ticket for eve in reasonable price. The Information Centers will stand at Aejimun, sociology building and law library.
  The School of Business student Choi Jae-young said “Because I suffered from the festival last year, now I think that I know how to enjoy the festival. So I am looking forward to enjoying the festival at this time.”
