Lim Jung-taek, a staff member of IUCF, explained founding the GEC. “We have organized an advisory committee. However, the specific contents are still under arrangement. We are considering a variety of programs such as lecture, in-service training, camps, model enterprises, international exchanges, and so on. One of the most important things is to strengthen its content. That is why we have been preparing it for a long time.”
There are many successful cases of entrepreneurship centers in foreign universities. However in Korea, HYU is the first university which has tried GEC. IUCF says GEC will start in the second semester if it is ready. IUCF said “HYU expects the GEC will produce new chief executive officers who will visit HYU when HYU hits or arrives at its 100th anniversary.”
