I found the last issue's [Society] interesting because it had talked about satire in the mass media mentioning one of my favorite TV program, Saturday Night Live Korea. As a fan of this program, it was fun to read the article and I could empathize with the content. My opinion on satire is, although it can turn into 'mere mockery' like the column [Society] had raised problem on, it definitely functions as a way of expressing discontentment and anger towards the society with a sense of humor, which is advisable in today's society where there are many disappointed people gathering in a public square with candles on their hands. Through expressing their opinions using satire, I think many people can sympathize with it and establish a sense of awareness to society, leading to a better future, a better society.
