On November 3, Kim Woo-choong, the Founder and Chairman of the Daewoo Group, and Shin Jang-sup, a Professor of Business Administration at the National University of Singapore, held a seminar in the SKT Hall located in Business School of Hanyang University. The seminar was held in order to encourage start-ups among Hanyangians.

During the seminar, Kim gave a brief greeting and a lecture emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship, saying that the era of small and medium sized enterprises will come, led by young people. “The dream of young people to establish their own company is significant. They will play leading roles by accepting challenges and pushing for innovation,” said Kim during the lecture. After his speech, Shin introduced his book called, Dialogue with Kim Woo-choong - The World is Still Wide with Many Things to Be Done, which gives an account on the life of Kim Woo-choong.

However, there were some comments which showed dissatisfaction about the lecture, saying that only a vague explanation of business start-ups was given. “I expected specific information on start-ups, but all the lecture did was emphasizing their importance. Also, I was not sure why the lecture mostly consisted of the life story of Kim Woo-choong,” said Kim Shin-bee, a Junior of Political Science and Diplomacy
