I frequently read many newspapers and magazines, but none of them had actually printed an article that mainly focused on the LGBT community, so it was quite the surprise when I saw that the for this magazine was about the LGBT community. It was especially interesting to read about the fact that our university had a club for sexual minorities. Through this article, I had come to realize that the queer community is not as far off from my life than I had always thought it to be. This article has also given me the opportunity to appreciate the efforts that this community has gone through.
