LOTTE Museum of Art is holding an exhibition “Kenny Scharf, Super Pop Universe”, which is his biggest exhibition ever to be held in Asia. Kenny Scharf is an iconic pop artist whose artwork began from street murals and expanded to legendary graffiti art. He elevated street art into a contemporary genre and helped find the golden age of New York pop art in the 1980s along with Keith Haring and JeanMichel Basquiat. 100 pieces of art including paintings, sculptures, videos, and photos that he has created are displayed here too. Additionally, a special mural for Korean visitors is displayed in this exhibition. This exhibition offers visitors a special chance to understand visual art and appreciate the original art intermingled with life.
