New Buildings in the New Semester

Hanyang University(HYU) is underremodeling construction to offer students abetter education environment. Section of Facilities Office chief in HYU, KwonYong-gin, says that they have finished theremodeling of a few HYU buildings.

For Seoul campus, remodeling of thelibrary in the College of Law, College ofLaw I and II and College of Economics and Finance and Department of Educationbuilding was accomplished. And for Ansancampus, remodeling of the College of Economics and Business Administrationand Engineering building V was finished.

The construction has had some difficultiesbecause of nerve distracting constructionnoises during the semester. Kwon also added that they had to use vacation periodto avoid these kinds of conflicts from the HYU students.

A construction had been under processsince summer vacation of 2007 and finally was accomplished in the winter vacation 2007/2008. However, there is still undergoingconstructions. The remodeling of the Democratic Square in Ansan campus, Fusion Technology Center, and the newmain campus building of Seoul campus.

Especially, construction of main campusbuilding would be long-term construction.In addition, higher efficiency of spacecapacity will increase when the offices aremoved to the new building. Section ofFacility Office and HYU AdministrationOffice will continue to construct more newbuildings in the future to provide a studentsatisfiedcampus. These new constructionswill expected to boost HYU students prideand more convenient and pleasant use of campus.
