From January 22 to February 22, the ERICA Quiz Competition was hosted by the ERICA Library open to all members of Hanyang University(HYU) including faculty through a mobile application. The event was conducted in a quiz game format and was designed to promote more understanding and familiarity of HYU for all Hanyangians.

Participants could take part in the quiz event as individuals or in groups by installing the application. The quiz was similar to other game apps in which participants engage in a one-on-one match. Each participant could choose his or her competitor or just match with unintentionally chosen person. Questions were randomly picked from five different categories including ERICA-related information, information about HYU, 75 books that HYU recommends, three specific books(These are from 75 books above but questions about them are more challenging compared to those about 75 books) and common sense. These areas contain basic knowledge that every Hanyangian should know. Group participants consisted of two to ten students but quiz format remained the same whether it involved groups or individuals.

An award will be presented to the top rankers of the competition. In the individual competition, prizes are based on first to fifth place, while in the group competition, prizes are awarded for first to third. The festival was held until February 22 and the rankings will be announced in March. For the awards, only Hanyangians at the ERICA campus are eligible to receive prizes, although the quiz festival itself was open for participation by anyone at HYU through the sponsorship of the Education Advancement Association Business Budget.
