The 16th Korea Queer Culture Festival, a festival for homosexual people, is going to be held from June 9 to 21. The opening ceremony is planned to be held on June 9 in Seoul Plaza, and it is the first time that Seoul City admitted to hold the festival in the place. However, Seoul government is preoccupied with a collision between advocates and opponents about homosexuality. The participants in the former festivals, meanwhile, caused some problems by wearing nothing except underwear, highlighting sexual organs and hanging out suggestive phrases in their placards.
