The most significant change I have undergone in university is the opportunity to be connected with various individuals and explore a wide range of interests. I was able to explore multifaceted perspectives through interacting with peers from various majors and backgrounds, thereby broadening my view of the world. Furthermore, participation in university clubs, such as musical and fashion, has provided experiences beyond the scope of my high school years. During high school, my perspective was limited as I was solely focused on joining the business department. However, as a university student, I embrace new challenges and experiences, propelling myself toward my future. Hence, I believe this shift was a major turning point in my personal development.

My personal growth in university has been significantly influenced by my involvement in university clubs. Engaging in club activities helped me cultivate my collaborative skills and assume greater responsibility. Throughout my high school years, the impact of COVID-19 limited my interactions with diverse individuals, presenting me with several challenges that were previously unencountered in my life. However, with the support of my seniors and peers, I was able to navigate such obstacles and grow.

My journey through undergraduate life within the university brought a change in my perspective on education. I initially pursued studies in the Department of Mathematics Education with aspirations of becoming a teacher or lecturer, primarily drawn to the appeal of the profession during my high school years. However, as I furthered my studies in mathematical education, I established a concrete educational philosophy regarding the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of teaching students. Contemplating the challenges faced by public education, I delved deeply into the essence of impactful lessons that truly benefit students. Currently, I am dedicating myself to creating private mock tests, aiming to disseminate these insights.

One of the most profound shifts I have noticed in university is the diversity of individuals I have encountered. Unlike high school, where my social circle largely comprised of local connections with limited shared interests, university introduced me to a variety of people who resonated with my passions and affiliations, be it through shared majors or club memberships. Furthermore, I noted a distinct absence of external pressures in university compared to high school. While high school provided a structured framework and guidance in terms of academics, the university granted me the liberty to chart my own course. This newfound autonomy of mine fostered a period of personal growth and development.
